Within one sick year: the first 30 days at full pay, the next 60 days at three quarters of your pay, and the next 30 days unpaid.

When does the sick year start?

On the day of your first sick leave, not on 1 January. Days count whether the leave is continuous or split up.

Does this apply to government employees?

No. Article 117 covers private-sector employees; government employees follow the civil service rules.
