Government salary dates
The Ministry of Finance’s published rule: salaries are paid on the 27th of each Gregorian month. If the 27th is a Friday, they’re paid on the Thursday before; if it’s a Saturday, on the Sunday after.
The rest of 2026 (Ministry of Finance dates):
| Month | Payday |
|---|---|
| October 2026 | Tuesday 27 October |
| November 2026 | Thursday 26 November |
| December 2026 | Sunday 27 December |
2027 (worked out from the rule):
| Month | Payday | Note |
|---|---|---|
| January | Wednesday 27 January | |
| February | Sunday 28 February | The 27th is a Saturday |
| March | Sunday 28 March | The 27th is a Saturday |
| April | Tuesday 27 April | |
| May | Thursday 27 May | |
| June | Sunday 27 June | |
| July | Tuesday 27 July | |
| August | Thursday 26 August | The 27th is a Friday |
| September | Monday 27 September | |
| October | Wednesday 27 October | |
| November | Sunday 28 November | The 27th is a Saturday |
| December | Monday 27 December |
The Ministry of Finance publishes each year’s official schedule, and payments can be brought forward before an Eid by special announcement. For every payment in one month-by-month table, see salary and support dates 2026–2027.
Usual support and pension dates
| Payment | Usual date |
|---|---|
| Citizen Account | The 10th of each Gregorian month |
| Pensions (civil, military and social insurance) | The 1st of each Gregorian month (since May 2024) |
| Developed social security | The 1st of each Gregorian month |
If one of these dates falls on a weekend, the deposit day may change, so the countdown flags it and it’s best to check the official announcement.
Private-sector salaries
Private-sector pay days depend on your contract and your employer, so choose your usual day in the countdown. To work out other amounts you’re owed, try the overtime calculator and the annual leave calculator.
