How to use it

Choose your situation, the date the notice was given, and optionally your monthly wage. You’ll see your last working day and the pay in lieu of notice.

Notice periods

Situation Notice
Employee resigns, indefinite contract 30 days
Employer ends an indefinite contract 60 days
Indefinite contract, wage not paid monthly 30 days (either side)
Resigning from a fixed-term contract Deemed accepted after 30 days without a reply; the employer can postpone up to 60 days with a written reason

Example

Notice given on 1 October 2026 by an employee resigning: the last day is 31 October 2026. With a 9,000 SAR wage, pay in lieu of notice would be 9,000 ÷ 30 × 30 = 9,000 SAR.

Write your letter with the resignation letter tool, work out your award with the end-of-service calculator, and read resignation and notice periods.
