Add a watermark

Add a text watermark to your photos, or to copies of your ID before you send them, so they can’t be reused for something else.

JPG, PNG or WebP. Images are watermarked on your device.

How to use it

  1. Drop your images, or tap Choose images.
  2. Type the watermark text, then choose the placement, size, opacity and color.
  3. Download each image, or all of them as a ZIP.

For ID and document copies

Write who it’s for and the date, for example: Copy for Al-Noor Rentals only, 1/10/2026. Use the Repeated placement at about 30–40% opacity, so the details stay readable but the watermark can’t be removed easily.

To reduce the file size afterwards, use the image compressor.

Add a watermark: common questions

Why watermark a copy of my ID?

Writing who it’s for and the date, such as “Copy for XYZ Bank only, 1/10/2026”, makes it much harder to misuse the copy elsewhere.

Which placement is safest?

Repeated, semi-transparent text across the whole image is the hardest to crop or edit out.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Watermarks are added in your browser, and your images never leave your device.
