How it works
Each month, your balance grows by a twelfth of the yearly return, then your monthly addition is added. The table shows what you’ve paid in and what it’s worth at the end of each year.
Example
Starting with SAR 10,000 and adding SAR 1,000 a month for 10 years at 6% a year:
| SAR | |
|---|---|
| You put in | 130,000 |
| Value at the end | 182,073 |
| Growth | 52,073 |
Starting earlier matters more than adding more later: growth in the final years is the largest.
Plan the monthly amount with the savings goal planner, and see where it fits in your budget.
